The story my Mom told was that I could always be found with her in the kitchen, pulling up a chair to stand on while "helping" her. She bought me my first cookbook when I was eight (pictured here) and I have loved baking ever since.

My passion for creating things from scratch developed over my career as a Graphic Designer. Not only could I create tasty treats, I could package them as well! Somewhere along the way, SimplySandee was born. Finally, a way to combine my design and baking talents to create custom treats for you. Of course, I can still design treats for the eye like invitations, custom decals, light blocks and T-shirts for a group.
